Travel Safety Tips for You and Your Jewelry

Don’t place your home address on your luggage tags, as thieves will know your home is vulnerable during your absence.

Don’t allow the people at your home to give information about your trip to callers. Tell them to ask for a phone number so you can contact the callers.

Don’t leave your jewelry unattended in your room or your vehicle, even for a brief moment when you stop for gas or food.

Don’t pack your jewelry in your checked baggage.

Don’t open your hotel room door until you are sure who is knocking.

Don’t sit in your car. When you stop, get out. When you enter your car, drive away immediately.

Do make sure you have adequate insurance to cover any loss. McConnell & Son Jewelers can supply accurate appraisals and insurance information.

Do bring your jewelry and enjoy it.
